Mr. Kajan is an Analyst in the firm’s Colorado office, where he focuses primarily on business valuation engagements. His valuation experience includes imaging centers, hospitals, physician practices, ambulatory surgical centers, long term care facilities, intangible assets and other diagnostic and treatment facilities.
Prior to joining HealthCare Appraisers, Mr. Kajan was an analyst with Sheldrick, McGehee & Kohler, LLC, a valuation firm located in Jacksonville, Florida. During this time, Mr. Kajan gained valuable experience appraising private investments in public equity, restricted stock, convertible securities, warrants, options, “one-off” derivatives, and closely held or limited market interests and prepared over 125 valuation reports totaling approximately $1.5 billion in value.
Mr. Kajan earned a Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Finance from Stetson University and is an alumnus of the Roland George Investment Institute. He is a Level II Candidate in the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program and is also pursuing the AM designation from the American Society of Appraisers.
