Mr. Glachman is Director of Fixed Asset Appraisal Services for the Firm and has been in the appraisal profession since 1971. He has significant experience in the valuation of buildings and equipment of healthcare properties, including many hundreds of various medical practices in family care, OB/GYN, general and specialty surgical, ophthalmology, physical and rehabilitation therapy, plastic surgery, urological, bone specialists, surgical centers, multi-modality imaging facilities, and hospitals ranging from 40-bed rural facilities to major urban teaching centers.

Before joining HealthCare Appraisers, Mr. Glachman was the owner and principal appraiser of B. Glachman Valuation Consultants LLC. For 28 years, he was employed by CBIZ Valuation Group LLC as a staff appraiser, senior appraiser, manager and senior manager primarily involved with appraisals of construction and commercial, medical, industrial and institutional furnishings, machinery and equipment.

Mr. Glachman is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA).

Mr. Glachman has spoken to the Central NJ Chapter of The Appraisal Institute, presented a seminar on Valuing HealthCare machinery and equipment to bankers at Commerce Bank in Mt. Laurel, NJ (now TD Bank), and participated in a panel discussion on fixed asset impairment issues attended by accounting professionals from the Philadelphia area.

Appraisal & Professional Education

Mr. Glachman has completed all required and many elective courses offered by the American Society of Appraisers in the discipline of Machinery and Equipment, including four Principles of Valuation courses specific to machinery and equipment, as well as initial and updated courses covering the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP). Additionally, he has completed ASA’s Report Writing course, and attended many seminars presented by ASA’s Machinery and Technical Specialties Committee. Finally, he has also attended seminars offered by The Appraisal Institute.
