Mr. Newsad is a Senior Associate in the Firm’s Colorado office. Prior to joining Healthcare Appraisers, Mr. Newsad served as a senior analyst at a national surgery center chain where he developed business plans for de novos and acquisitions of surgical and acute care hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers and diagnostic imaging centers. Mr. Newsad has also served as an interim administrator of a physician-hospital ASC joint venture, during which time he supervised all clinical and administrative personnel and prepared monthly management reports for the Board of Directors.
Mr. Newsad holds a Master’s degree in Health Service Administration from Xavier University. He has been referenced and quoted as a healthcare expert in several prominent publications, including the Los Angeles Times, New York Daily News, SmartMoney.com, Managed Care Contracting & Reimbursement Advisor, Patient Friendly Billing and Healthcare Financial Management.
