Mr. Mello is a Principal and co-founder of HealthCare Appraisers and manages the firm’s Colorado office.  Mr. Mello has 18 years of healthcare finance and valuation experience, the last eight of which have been spent building HealthCare Appraisers to become one of the nation’s preeminent valuation firms focused exclusively on the healthcare industry.  Prior to founding HealthCare Appraisers, Mr. Mello served as the Vice President of Business Development for a national neuro-musculoskeletal physician management company during which time Mr. Mello managed the due diligence and acquisition function of the company as well as the syndication/feasibility of subsequent outpatient surgical center development.  In addition, Mr. Mello has also been responsible for providing physician acquisition related consulting and diligence services and corporate financial analysis services within the publicly traded managed care arena.   

Mr. Mello is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA), an Accredited Valuation Analyst (AVA), and holds an MBA in Finance and Accounting.  Mr. Mello is a frequent speaker and author on healthcare valuation topics. __________________________________________________________________________
